Palos Verdes Monaco Homeowners Association

Palos Verdes Monaco Homeowners Association was formed in 1960 by Seymour Owens, principal owner of the partnership titled Palos Verdes Monaco. At the time, the Partnership was engaged in a lot sale program for the newly developed subdivision. The purpose of the Association is that of preserving the interests of the approximate 300 homeowners within the Monaco subdivision of Rancho Palos Verdes (an unincorporated portion of Los Angeles County at the time of the Association’s creation).

Homeowner interests and responsibilities are described in the Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions (CC&Rs) recorded by Palos Verdes Monaco on December 21, 1960. A copy of the CC&Rs covering lower & upper Monaco can be found here.

Palos Verdes Monaco Homeowners Association is a non-profit association. The founding partnership, Palos Verdes Monaco, retains no interest in the Association and is no longer associated with the subdivision.
